Hotel co-working spaces: three points to keep in mind
While hotel lobbies have long been popular for business meetings, in recent years, the trend of transforming them into a co-working space has taken over. However, not every hotel would benefit from having a co-working space:
- Make sure you have enough (and a suitable) space: alternatively, turn your breakfast area into a hybrid space – provided that furnishing and decorations can be adapted.
- Pay attention to the hotel’s positioning: a boutique hotel should refrain from placing a table football in the lobby.
- Find your niche market. For example, Soho House offers a hybrid co-working café concept to creative people.
